| Case in point: http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1776497 It's a shame that people "modify" their vehicles without really understanding what they are doing and what effects it will have. It's bad enough that people don't aim their headlights properly or put in the wrong bulbs (namely I am referring to the dual filament headlights where a handful will fit a particular application, but some of them have the high/low beam filaments reversed), but when they compound poorly focused light by increasing its intensity... I've got a million rants about how disgusted I am by the stupid things that people do for modification and maintenance (or the lack thereof) with their cars, so I think I'd better just stop right now. And for the record, I agree with both Joe and Ashley. I certainly understand why certain laws are in place (even though I sometimes question the effectiveness, since nothing is ever truly idiot-proof). I also think that it's a shame that we throw a blanket law out there which legally hinders improvements to some cars in the hopes of preventing hazards caused by other people who don't really know (or care) what they are doing.
